What is a Staging Consultation?

A Staging Consultation is a meeting at your home, starting with an extensive and detailed evaluation of the exterior and interior areas of your home.  All details are recorded and a budget is discussed.  From there, a Staging Implementation Report is generated.


How long will it take to receive my Implementation Report?

When getting ready to put your home for sale, time is important.  All Staging jobs are different, a report will be generated as quickly as possible; time issues will be discussed upon your first call or consultation.  Reports can be emailed, faxed, delivered in person or via regular postal mail. 


How much is a Staging Consultation?

Consultations are based on the size of the home.  Call for a free estimate.


Can you provide me with furniture rentals?

Yes.  Furniture rentals are available.  Rentals begin on a monthly basis and continue for the length of time you need thereafter.  Everything will be delivered and laid out for you and picked up when the furniture is no longer needed.


I need to do some renovating before I put my home for sale.  Can you help?

Yes.  Catherine Awad specializes in Decorating, Design and Staging.  By consulting with Suite 19 Design & Interiors ahead of time, your home, upon completion, will be ready for sale. 


Can we do the work by ourself?

Yes you can.  Assistance is always provided from the Stager.  Referrals for larger or difficult jobs are also available, at your discretion.

What does a Consultation consist of?

A Consultation is a meeting at your home or establishment where the proprosed work will be done.  Budget, timelines, and design ideas will be discussed.  All data is recorded, ie: room size, furnishings (being re-used), photos of the space and all other pertinent information about the space.  All information will then be evaluated and transformed into a design concept plan.  


What is a design concept plan?

A design concept plan is a full layout of the newly designed space.  Samples such as paint, flooring, furnishings, window treatments, etc. are presented, accompanied with concept drawings of the space.


How long does it take for design concept plans to be completed?

The process of completing plans varies depending on the size of the project.   An estimate can be given upon your first call or consultation.


What is the cost of a consultation and design concept plans?

Consultations and design concept plans are priced according to the size of the project.  Call for a free estimate.


Do you work with specific contractors?

No.  Referrals are available but it is ultimately up to you to decide on who does the intended work.  You may want to hire someone you have worked with in the past, or a reference from a neighbour, or a company referred to you by Suite 19 Design & Interiors.  The choice is yours.  All contractors will be given design plans and complete the work with oversight from Catherine Awad.
